what we offer.
At Lolo Pediatric Dentistry, we offer a diverse range of dental services to set your little one up for oral health and happy teeth. From routine check-ups to specialty dental care, our robust range of services can be performed comfortably in our North Vancouver clinic. In addition to our in-clinic services, we also provide information in enhancing your child’s nutritional habits, allowing you and your child to experience the benefits of healthy and happy teeth well after the appointment. Discover some of the pediatric dental services that we offer from below.
routine cleanings & fluoride
We would like to monitor your child’s growth and development every 6 months. During these easy and fun appointments, we will check for cavities, assess their bite, reinforce oral hygiene instructions, complete a cleaning, and apply fluoride.
digital x-rays
Our office uses only fully digital radiology so as to reduce radiation to your child by 25% of traditional film-based systems. Because our team strongly values minimizes our environmental footprint, we acknowledge that digital x-rays fulfill this goal by eliminating the need to use film-developing chemicals.
restorative care
If your child has a cavity, restorative care is usually required. There are many options regarding types of restorations, so see us at Lolo Pediatric Dentistry for an exam and in-depth conversation.
space maintenance
If a baby tooth is lost early or there is crowding of the teeth, space maintainers might be needed. Every case is different, so it’s best to come in for an exam and discussion.
moderate sedation
If your child is more than just a little nervous about dental work, or has more treatment needs, moderate or “conscious” sedation could be an option. This is done in the office. Come in for an exam to see if your child is a candidate.
general anesthesia
If your child is very anxious or needs a lot of dental work, general anesthesia might be an option worth considering. This is done at a surgical centre by an anesthesiologist. Book an appointment for an in-depth conversation.
sportsguards
If your child participates in contact sports, a custom-made sportsguard might be something to consider in order to protect the developing teeth.

Did you know that flouride is not added to the drinking water in BC?
Fluoride is an important element that helps to fight cavities!
According to both the American and Canadian Academies of Pediatric Dentistry, children should begin using a “grain-of-rice” sized amount of fluoride toothpaste as soon as their first teeth erupt. With this in mind, it is completely safe for a child to swallow this amount of fluoride toothpaste.
We are happy to welcome new pediatric patients to our North Vancouver clinic.
